We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to attorneys by handling client inquiries and all aspects of workers' compensation claims. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication abilities, a solid understanding of Illinois Workers' Compensation Claims process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and settlement
-Draft legal documents, including pleadings and other filings
- Review and analyze documents for relevancy and accuracy
- Organize and maintain case files and other important documents
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Schedule appointments as needed
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with interviewing clients and witnesses to gather necessary information
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with exposure to Illinois Workers' Compensation claims
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
